I am a former scientist who, after completing a PhD in Mathematical Astrophysics at Cambridge University, decided to move into science communication. Currently, I am the Media and Communications Manager of the European Geosciences Union, and I work in Munich, Germany. This blog is personal, though, so views are my own.

Dinner Party Science — which, in many ways, helped my transition from academia to science communication — works as a platform to write about everything science-y I find funny or interesting. My preferred topics are those that fall into the broad categories of environment, the natural world, and food. Astronomy, my first love, is also a favourite.
